MRI and CT of Westchester is the first
and only center in the region to use the new Hitachi
Altaire 0.7T Open High Field Magnet.

 This magnet combines the
advanced technology of a closed high-field unit with a completely open
scanning environment. With virtually no weight limit and the
largest gantry in the industry, we can accommodate any size patient.
This magnet is also the safest in the industry because it
utilizes a vertical magnetic field which reduces the risk of
metal objects being sucked into the magnet core.
We are capable of
performing all types of MRI examinations including (MRA (arterial
studies) of any part of the body, MRCP-biliary/pancreatic studies and
all Orthopedic and Neurological studies.
